Recognized as Vermont Sustainable Farm of the year in 2006, Someday Farm is an intensively managed “full course” family enterprise offering vegetables, poultry, Thanksgiving/holiday turkeys, game birds, lamb, eggs, compost, small fruits, maple syrup and honey since 1984. Our markets include our own farm stand, a CSA – in operation since 1987-, on-farm sales, the local farmer’s market and various restaurants and stores.
Someday Farm’s mission is to grow the freshest and healthiest foods for ourselves and for our community while nurturing the land for future generations and sharing the profession of farming with students of all ages. An important aspect of our farm includes our many agricultural educational programs and opportunities. We work within the community and with various non-profits to develop a wide range of programs.
Most of our beautiful flock of sheep is made up of purebred Icelandic but we also have a couple of Bluefaced Leicester crosses. Our sheep are raised for both meat and fiber.
