Registration is closed. The class is full.

There will be a lambing clinic at Shelburne Farms on March 4th, 2018. It will start with a class from 10 to 12, followed by a potluck lunch and then a couple of hours in the barn.

Chet Parsons is a retired extension livestock specialist and he has 30 years of experience teaching and demonstrating how to care for sheep. He has his own flock and will be lambing later in March. Chet has also taught the Master Shepherd Course sponsored by VSGA a few years ago.

Dave will be lambing a flock of just over 100 ewes and has 25 years of experience raising sheep. He started with one lamb named Mary and says “She was fortunate in that she knew what to do when she had her first set of lambs; because I certainly didn’t. I am more than willing to share stories about the lessons I have learned over the years.”

The cost will be $10 for VSGA members and $20 for non-members.
